Our processing plant:
The Institute’s dairy product processing plant manufactures bottled milk. In the very beginning, laborers were required to fill in milk into bottles, which has been replaced by automated filling and sterilization process years ago. The progress has been difficult yet worthwhile. Currently we are complying with the reconstruction plan regulated by HACCP.
A milk product laboratory affixed to the processing plant:
We have established a milk product lab for strict supervision, making sure all fresh milk pass the tests on rate of cream, weight, gross solids, and amount of bacteria. The records have been minutely documented.
Our milk products:
The Institute adopts the latest technologies and ultra heat treated method (138’C, 3-5 sec) to manufacture milk products, which retains most of the nutrition and keep the original flavor of fresh milk.
Presently the 1-liter bottled milk is sold over four agencies including Kincheng Supermarket of Kinmen Fishermen’s Association, Kinhu Supermarket of Kinmen Fishermen’s Association, Kinsha Mall and Crystal Purple Restaurant at the ground floor of the administration building of the Institute. We welcome patrons, local or from other cities, to come to visit the above shops. Each is at NTD 65 for a retailer price. The milk can be kept for seven days in a refrigerator under 5’C.
