Promotion of production technology improvement and breed reforms: The local husbandry has been at a disadvantage due to higher cost than average, and the Institute has been making long-time efforts to cost down and increase production efficiency.
Counseling husbandry organizations to exert self-regulatory functions: We are committed to helping with guidance on all husbandry organizations and enhancing their functions as an organization, so as to strike a balance between production and selling.
Implementation of livestock contamination prevention and breeding environment improvement: We work to help farmers to dutifully undertake livestock contamination preventive measures by recycling nourishing water to farmlands and enhancing the soil, ultimately bettering the image of husbandry industry.
Building the good image of livestock products: We have invented a trademark for Kinmen brewers’ grains beef, with the hope of promoting the local livestock commodities and helped the local farmers to be part of the food traceability system and to gain a differentiation edge in the market of raw meat products.
Setting up dude ranches to promote tourism: We have worked on ranch improvement and planned a route for tourists which connects the landscape construction, Kinmen Agricultural Research Institute, and Kinmen Forestry Bureau. Thus the development of industry will facilitate the local tourism. |
